The Return
The site has been gone for almost two days, but it looks like my host recovered most of it from whatever foolishness they’ve done. All the posts are still here, but some of the customization I did to the theme is gone, as well as some pictures and stuff I uploaded. Not a good start for a host I’ve only had for a week and a half or so. I guess I’ll have to actually start using this Wordpress backup plugin in order not to have to rely on the host’s somewhat outdated backup copy. Somehow it has the updates I did to the projects page itself, but it doesn’t have any of the files that it links to. Maybe I’ll have some time to fix that before I have to leave.
Anyways, I’ve spent most of today packing for the return to Virginia now that school is done. Washing all the dishes I had sitting around wasn’t so fun, but it needed doing. Also, even though I have a decent amount of stuff, packing up everything except my desktop seems to have been a fairly simple chore. I don’t have a lot of little trinkets that need to be carefully packed. Most of my stuff is DVD cases and books, so everything stacks on top of each other pretty well. It also helps that a lot of my stuff is still semi-packed from the last time I moved, I guess ;)
